JKIS2016 Wk31 – Adventure Starts at Home (lesson by Claudia Ybarra Rossi)
Our theme for this month has been Journeys, and as I was thinking about it I knew I wanted to focus on adventure. The more I thought about it, the more I realized that I don’t necessarily get much adventure in my life, and I thought that might be true for many of you as well. So I started thinking more about how we can start right where we live. Most of us live somewhere where there is something to do, even if it’s a small thing. Even before moving to Hawaii, there were things to do in my town, many that I overlooked and never enjoyed while I lived there. So my idea was to focus on adventure starting at home, right where we live right now and to explore the things that are available to us close to home. I encouraged you last week to collect things related to attractions and favorite places in your hometown, and in this lesson we’ll be using them to create a fun collage journal page.
If you haven’t signed up for JKIS yet, it’s not to late to join in on all the fun and great instruction we have in store for you this year!
